Im a seventeen year old female, and in a serious relationship (not the typical "highshool" ones) we love eachother very much. But He came up to me and said he thinks we should slow down on the sex and phyisical part of our relationship, "take a breather" and just talk for an evening. Why do i want sex so bad?... i love this guy with all that i am, i want to make him happy...how do i control my sexual tendancies?

In this case, you need to realize that when a guy wants to "slow it down" it means he doesn't love you. He is trying to do the right thing--as he sees it--by not having sex with you because he can tell that you are more into him than he is into you.

Just because he is saying 'slow it down' doesn't mean he's a dog with an ulterior motive. He may just mean it. He might be scared of you becoming pregnant. He could actually be a decent guy. Now, in your case, sometimes women tend to think of sex as an attention getter...a way of feeling intimate with their man if intimacy isn't happening in other ways. Do you feel you have his attention? Do you feel like the two of you are intimate?

uh oh. at that age take a breather means your smothering him and he's already found someone else. prepare for emotional plane crash. here it comes. the begining of the end. the only thing you can do is ignore him, even breakup first and let him see you with other guys, dont even kiss them or its over, but let him see you having a good time in their company then use his jealousy to make him your pawn.

hum just try it. talk for one evening. Sexual things become a habit and sometimes an addiction! try to stop it before you get in over your head. if you love him than respect his wishes.
Also i dont think he is cheating or hates you. he just wants to get to know you better. BUT if he is getting ready to, ask him what his intentions are next time you talk.
