Wow...this question hit kinda close to him.
To answer your ORIGINAL question: no, you can't control who u fall in love with. As a matter of fact, I tried NOT to fall in love with my boyfriend, cuz I was honestly afraid of love...I didn't want to get hurt. But I couldn't help myself. I cried for days cuz I knew that I was fallin' 4 this guy...and one day I looked up and realized that he's the only one I want to EVER be with.
So, that ties in with ur other questions. Once you've fallen in love with somebody, and it's a REAL love...a real DEEP love...it's very hard to love somebody else. It's not that she's not TRYING hard enough, it's just that nobody can compare to your first true love. She's constantly sizin' other guys up with the guy she loved/s. It'll take time 4 her to let him go, and even when she does, there'll always be a place in her heart that's restricted to only him. That's the way love goes.

This would be so nice if we could actually control who we fall in love with. I mean just think how wonderful our lives would be? Unfortunately it just does not happen like that! We just fall in love with whom ever fate has given us! Destiny, fate, whatever you call it it just happens. The sad thing is that some people never find someone to love, so if you are lucky enough to find someone to love or to love you just be happy for that! If it is ment to be it will!

Sometimes this can be an unconscious coping method. Being in love with someone else spares you the potential pain of disappointment with someone new.
Or she's avoiding embracing the mourning period(and there should be one)
What she needs to do is allow herself to mourn her past relationship, and give herself the time to heal without being hard on herself. I've just past that point myself, after almost a year. And it will heal, you just need to be patient.

Yes, you do control whom you fall in love with. You can not fall in love with someone whom you do not spend time communicating with in some form or another. And she probably isn't giving anyone else a chance because she is in love and does not or is not ready to be with anyone else. God bless****

it depends...
as u said, she tried but she failed & get another guy...
but i think she would b very suffer in tis situation....
cos she has to forget bout the past....
was she tried to forget bout that man & start another relationship by tat easily???
i m going to say we couldnt control who we r fall in love with..
it's like a magnet.... + & -... strong feeling & b together...
might have not fate if they r not together or not strong enough...
both of them have to be two way... but not one way...
