Your hair sounds beautiful the way it is. Long, black hair, olive skin... Sounds lovely. Don't ruin it with fake looking highlights. If you really insist on getting some kind of highlights, get some dark brown highlites that'll look more natural on your black hair. But don't go for light blond or anything! It'll look so phony! Your hair sounds gorgeous the way it all ready is, so don't change it to much!

Blonde highlights are way too light. Try something maybe a shade or two lighter than your natural color. I once dyed my hair black and put in blonde highlights and ended up looking like a skunk. Don't try it!

i wouldn't it might looks skunkish if u do tho i would go with brown rather than ablonde for a highlight color choice

With the solar, the maroon colour will turn a pink like colour. in case you prefer some thing bright, attempt a caramel in case you prefer some thing organic, in all likelihood a cherry chocolate or a medium brown. =]

dark red highlights can look cool if your into that kinda style. but if i were you, i would leave your hair. it sounds gorgeous!!
