"I want you very much" would be a direct translation, but it probably means more "I love you very much"

The thing is that there's no translation because in Spanish unlike English we have "levels" of love. English speakers use " I love you" for everything. "Te quiero mucho" is a high level of affection but not as high as " Te amo" which is the at the top.
