We know that there is nothing we can do to deserve Heaven, Faith alone in Christ alone is our only hope. What to you think faith alone looks like?

Not Faith Alone, but Grace Alone. Grace from God comes first to allow Faith to flourish.

James 2:24 a man is justified by works and NOT by faith alone.
James 2:26 faith without works is dead
Gal 5:6 only thing that counts is faith working in Love
1 Cor 13:2 faith without love is nothing
Jn 14: 15 if you love me, keep my commandments
Mt 19:16-17 if you wish to enter life, keep my commandments

Faith Alone is not Biblical

Excellent question! The question is now begged, "Is there a such thing as faith alone?"

The Bible teaches us that faith is a fruit of the spirit.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance
Galatians 5:22-23

Yet works alone will not get us into heaven.

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Titus 3:5

In James chapter 2 we learn that faith without works is dead.

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
James 2:17

Therefore it seems that faith alone cannot work.

It is said that we are saved by faith alone, but not by faith which stands alone. In the book of James we are told that faith without works is death. So it isn't just a faith that consists of acknowledgement, but a faith that leads to obedience.

Jesus told us a parable about a man and two sons. When he asks a son to do something he says he will not, so he asks the second and he says he will do it... but it turns out that the first feels remorse and then obeys his father, while the second one goes off and forgetting his father's request he joins his friends. So which one obeys his father. The answer was the first son. Even though it was the second who gave the answer the father wanted to hear, it was the first son who obeyed. Salvation comes not just by hearing and proclaiming our intentions. Salvation comes from carrying through and doing that what we are designed to do.

"Faith alone" looks like good works; but it is MUCH MORE. The reason it looks like good works is because true faith is manifested through good works. Yet this active faith shouldn't be confused with good works that are done only for the sake of getting to heaven, since those works aren't motivated by faith. So, if at first glance it "looks like" good works, look--or rather listen--a little deeper, because true faith "sounds" different: It consists of the testimony of Jesus Christ!

Faith alone means that there is nothing you can do on your own... no works, will get you into heaven. Only faith in God through Jesus CHrist his Son

Not sure exactly what it looks like. It doesn't have to be big though, just the size of a mustard seed, which is barely visible to the human eye.

It doesn't "look" like anything. It's something you feel. You believe in it. Ignore what everyone tells you. Ignore any facts or evidence. Just believe.

I think it means that just by knowing that there is an afterlife - when you die, and your spirit still lives (in the form of your thoughts), you will know who to call out to, praise, or search for. it won't be a confusing moment - you will know and you will find God.
