I ran into a old boyfriend a month ago and we discussed some business matters. Anyway I sent him a holiday card to say Merry Christmas. Do you think that was to bold of me or should I have just texted him to wish him a happy holiday?

I am sure it made his whole day. To get a card from you. It wasn't to bold. Unless you do not mean it. He might think you want to get together again. It's cool!

I think that was very nice. I guess it depends what kind of 'buisness matters' were discussed. As long as it wasn't awkward, which it doesn't sound like it was if you were comfortable enough to send a holiday card. As long as there wasn't any 'miss you' or 'call me' notes in it, it's completely acceptable. It's like running into an old friend at this point, as long as there are no feelings. It's fine and normal.

That's the good part of the holiday, u can show how you really care for people, and send cards that give people a warm feeling in their hearts. Everyone loves to know someone outthere is caring for them and wants them to have a great holiday kudos to u

Well you were bold and I think that was cool. It depends on how long you have known him. If a long time then yeah that was a good idea but if you havene known him for that long then you should have just sent him a text message.

I think you should did okay by sending him a Christmas card, remember texting someone costs more than actually sending them a Christmas card. Besides, he is your ex for a reason...you can't give him any ideas that you want to hook back up with him. or was that your intention all along?...lol

A text message is just another way to replace the traditional card or letter.

The Christmas card was fine, As long as you didn't say anything like "i miss you, and still want to be with you" If it was just a professional card you have nothing to worry about.

I think it was ok as long as you two are still in good terms with eachother. Just because you don't date him anymore doesn't mean you can send him cards.
