I am trying to buy something on ebay with Pay Pal. When I am signed in to my Pay Pal account, it is saying I need to register a bank account number, name, etc. Is there a way I can bypass the bank account thing and just buy the item? I just want to buy the item with my credit card!

Go back to the page on ebay that has the item you want to buy. Purchase it with a credit card, by clicking the credit card icon, instead of clicking on the pay pal icon.
You have to choose one or the other.
Optionally, you can pay with pay pal, but you'll have to give them pay pal) a credit or debit card account from which they'll withdraw funds to pay for your purchase.

The ebay seller is always charged for fees from PayPal as they deduct fees from our accounts when you pay. If the seller decides to have you to be responsible for these fees, there has to be a disclaimer in the body of the auction description that there will be an additonal amount added to the final amount. This is not normally done, as it makes the buyer very angry. Paypal does not withold anything from the refund when a seller is giving you a refund. The seller can elect what amount he decides to give you. If you protest the amount, you have the right to dispute the amount.

I believe with Pay-Pal you have to have a bank account or c.c on file. It is suppose to eliminate sending your info across the web over and over.

YOu must have a checking account on file --that is how they transfer your money in and out in case of overdraft. So, no..you will have to give it to them to register
