They tend to place patients in certain pre-determined category of medical diagnosis even though they don't fit..

They go by what books say. They risk being wrong when they don't and can't afford being wrong for fear of a malpractice lawsuit.

i do miss the old days when a doc would be able to see a patient that he has seen all of the patients life. now it is more like a cattle call where they move em in then move them out. i feel for the truly
gifted doctors because they really aren't able to practice they way that they want to. their case load is so high that they have to cram
thirty to fifty a day just to keep up, and then they are on rotation. being a doctor is a lot more than what you see on t.v. it is ten times, if not a hundred times worse.in other words they don't have time to be "creative" they barely have time to take a pee,let alone lunch. the reason i know this the big hospital in Charlotte, n.c.
had my newborn grandchild in it and i had to become a s.o.b.
with alot of people and to practically make the diagnosis to have him treated. when all was said and done he turned out alright but it took a lot of talking.

Because in medical school, they beat out what little they came in with. It's sad that many still are in the dark ages and we are the ones who lose.
