I watched Bush's news conference today, and it was basically about staying the course. If the current Iraq policy do not work and the American soldiers die every month, why can't Bush change the course? I don't suggest withdraw the U.S troops from Iraq; my point is that bringing more international peace keeping troops into Iraq and giving a break to the U.S troops to reunite with their families in Christmas. Training the Iraqi troops also can't be done overnight. Why does Bush want to keep pounding his head to the wall? If the war strategies do not work, why can't he adopt the new policies? Why is he so stubborn?

Obviously "staying the course" has not worked very well. We should have gone in there and made glass out of some areas a long time ago. Unfortunately what's done is done. But should we now bow down to a document made by "the stench from the bench" that suggests that we can negotiate with peoples that would like to see us obliterated? I don't think so.

What would be YOUR course of action at this point?

Your course of action at this point would be that bringing the international peace keeping troops from anywhere around the world............to do WHAT? Sing together?

Pardon, but for a split second, I thought you might be smarter than the average guy.

Right. i saw the news conference too. He and Tony Blair are the only people who are looking "long term" about this situation. 9/11 was a wake up call for the world. But the world is still asleep to the "hidden agenda" of Islamic Fascists!! Theyre blaming Israel for all the ills of the middle east as well. I can't beleive people are so stupid! The U.N. aint doing a thing to help on this world. Look at Sudan!!

What international peace keeping troops, homas or hezbollah.
I know your kidding right? There is only one way to win this war on terror:

Take the handcuffs off OUR boys(MEN) (TROOPS) and let the EAGLE fly! Let them do what they gotta do and screw being politically correct~ War is killing and breaking~
VICTORY then PEACE!

They started it,WE can finish it.

He is not stubborn, the other countries are. Why would they risk their soldiers lives if we are willing to? Because they are cowards that's why. International support is the only way to defeat terrorism, however the U.S. and the U.K. seem to be the only countries who truly care.

Wrong, but not for the reasons you outline.

The international community (especially the UN) have no interest in dealing with terrorism. They are anti-US and anti-Israel.

What we need to do is flatten every area that is a problem. Blow it all off the face of the earth and then rebuild it.

You should be thankful Bush has the gall to stand up for what he believes in. Had he not, we would have been attacked again.

He's afraid to be called chicken, plus didn't want to admit being wrong.

That's why he is seeking help from Iran and Syria about the interim govt. of Iraq, so that he can withdraw troops without messing his name.

Because he can't seem to understand the fact that he's wrong. Plus, what about how he was gloating that God is on his side, and God will help him win the war...?
