I think Taylor could stay at Middleweight and still beat Lacy as a Super- Middle (even though this obviously wouldn't be allowed), I think we have all realised after Lacy's last two outings that he isn't the world beater we all thought he was, just relying on a powerful Left Hook isn't gonna get you too far at the top level. As for the bit about Jermain hurting Lacy i don't think he could but he would definitely outbox him for 12 rounds and win a lopsided decision.

Good question and an interesting fight. Taylor is an oustanding boxer and has good power as a middleweight. He has also fought and beat some really good fighters namely Bernard Hopkins twice and had a draw with Winky Wright. He definetly is a better boxer and has much quicker hands. Lacy is a very poiwerful and aggressive fighter with a really dangerous left hook. This fight would be a lot like the bull vs the matador with Taylor controlling the fight from the outside. He would have to withstand some furious infighting by Lacy and not get into a toe to toe fight with him. I believe that Taylor wins by boxing Lacy throughout the fight and picks up the decision victory in this one.

TAYLOR - W 25 (KO's 17) TF 26 - W pct 100% - KO pct 65% - wins over W. Joppy and Hopkins[2] - KO'ed by none
LACY - W 22 (KO's 17) TF 24 - W pct 92% - KO pct 71% - Pemberton, Reid, Vanderpol and Williams - KO'ed by none
We have an exciting and rousing fight, we have a 15 rd draw. That calls for a rematch.

that is a good question! Lacy has such power, yet Pavlik has shown to have those boxing intangibles. this can be one heck of a strive against! strolling on rice paper right here yet going with Pavlik wondering Lacy ought to positioned on down and be compelled to bypass into the later rounds the position Pavlik will take it.
