I had bunion surgery but I had absorable screws. I wouldn't worry to much about the screws hurting thought. If you had enough faith in your doctor to go ahead with the surgery, have enough faith in him to know he won't hurt you getting the pins out. Tell him your concerns ahead of time. Have patience and talk to your doctor if your scared. Give him a call so your don't worry till the pin comes out. Thats what their there for. Call him. Good luck. By the way, I'm glad I had the surgery.

It may hurt a little. Not enough to cause cardiac arrest. Don't worry about it.
