Is it because you have interpreted this verse in such a way as to ignore Jesus spending his life from Baptism to Crucifixion to bring us a message. Isn't his message more important than his DNA.

" I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life; no man can come to the Father except through me". -- Jesus Christ (Jn. 14:6)

It seems that Jesus' message is the way, the truth, and the life.

It seems through me means "my message".

Jesus warned us that we should not worship him or consider him any different than others. remember, he called himself the "son of man". Jesus considered all people as the the Sons of God, but he referred him self as the son of man. Of course he said our father in Heaven, in his model prayer.

I suppose this is a loaded question. But I welcome disagreement based on something I have overlooked. I also welcome additional information supporting the importance of Jesus' message.

which is

Harmony is harmony.

Disharmony is the only sin against God.

Fish: Tell me where Jesus said to worship him.
However, Jesus said when he was approached, "I am not perfect, only one is perfect and that is our father in Heaven.

Jesus said "I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE".

Are you sure that Jesus was not referring to his message compared to God's message and that they are the same message.

Jesus did not spend his life saying look at me. He spent his life saying listen to me so that you can go to Heaven. He never said that his blood would wash away your sins. He did preach that Harmony is its own reward and that Disharmony is the work of Satan.

Think about it, are you living in harmony with all of Gods children. Or are you and me simply living in harmony with our friends?

I am leaning toward choosing an answer that disagrees with me; as best answer.

All perfection, IE, Holiness, flows from the Father, who is Himself the Holy One. The message of Jesus was the message of the Kingdom of God. Jesus being the Way is seen in the Temple that God had Moses build out in the desert. There were three doors, the outer door, the door to the Holy place, and the door into the Most Holy Place. Each door had three colors running in stripes, they were Red (the blood of Jesus), White (the Holiness of God) and Sapphire Blue (the 10 commandments). Jesus was prophesied to bring back honer to the commandments of God. This He did.
There is nothing 'magical' about the blood of Jesus. Talismans, amulets, bones, and such are a pagan belief and they have nothing to do with God.

No, because the floor Jesus became crucified on became barren, it turned right into a rock. yet his blood did have a good looking sources, from it sprang new life, new wish and new grace. no longer magical because magic is faux, magic isn't some other thing beneficial than a trick and phantasm, Christ's blood is actual, shed for all humanity, believer or no longer. God bless you frequently.

God humbled himself and became a man. phil. 2:6

i'm not really sure what you were getting at, perhaps denying the deity of Christ?

and magical blood? c'mon man

when a baby is in the womb its blood never touches that of the mother, the dna for the blood comes from the seed of the father....therefore the blood has such importance b/c Mary was a virgin and Christ is the Son of God. it was perfect blood, it never had contact in the sin filled blood of Mary

You seem to have great understanding yet the spiritual things seem to be missing. Jesus' blood is a symbol of our salvation. Nowhere did Jesus say he should not be worshiped. Jesus while in the flesh was in humility and in submission to the father. We all have the pontential to be the sons of God but there is only one only begotten son of God his message was the word and the word was God. Jesus was the word and all things were created by him. John Chapter 1.

It is about sacrifce, blood sacrifice which is the payment for sin. You should know this. Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you John 6:53 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=50&chapter=6&verse=53&version=31&context=verse

For HIs flesh is the Word (John 1: 1-5) and to drink his blood is to accept the sacrifice, have you... I have

May the wisdom of Yahweh grace you this night

The sperm contains the blood gene.Without a human father ,the blood curse of Adam didn't apply to him.Only a perfect person could die for the sins of man.Since only God is perfect, and He is a Spirit,(John ch 4),He can't die.So Jesus volunteered to take on a tent of human flesh,to lay aside His glory, and try to (Through baptism, and temptation)understand our weaknesses. When Jesus healed the man born blind He said,Do you believe in the Son of God?(not man,The 'son of man' was attesting to his Messiahship. In Daniel it says,"The Son of Man came to the Ancient of Days..."(the Son to the Father)that 's what Jesus was refering to.Anyway, the man said "Who is he Lord that I may worship him?" Jesus said ,It is I who talk to you".
So don't say he never claimed to be the Son of God.Also in John 8:58 He says,"Before Abraham was ,I Am".Not I was ,I am.He was claiming to be the "I AM that I Am" that spoke to Moses. The Jews knew that ,that's why they picked up rocks to stone Him.
Matthew potrays Him as the King,Lion of the tribe of Judah.Mark portrays him as the Suffering Servant ,always in action.Luke portrays Him as the perfect man and John potrays Him as the Son of God.

I've struggled with this concept of the "shedding of blood" for a long time.
I do not believe our Creator ever ordered us to kill animals for His pleasure.
When I read the verse in Hebrews that says, "YOU have not yet resisted unto
blood!" I think I got an insight.
Blood is a symbolic term for ones "personal spiritual power". The people
put their hands on the sacrifice, while the priest intoned words of power, which allowed negative energies to leave the person and enter the animal.
Then the animal was destroyed. But this is pagan. Isaiah 66.
It was through Jesus Christs personal spiritual power, that He purged this
world of all the negative spiritual energies that had polluted this world,
and reopened the doors to spirit that had slowly been closing to us!
I feel will have to go through a period of suffering yet. To purge ourselves of all the anger, resentment, and negativity in our beings. Because those things
cannot exist where Christ is going to take us!

Sorry I have to disagree. Being a false prophet is a sin against God. Saying that Jesus did not want us to worship Him is antichrist. The Lord rebuke you.

Jesus called himself the son of man and not the son of God because he was to be the sacrificial lamb for mans sins. Not to flaunt the power of God.
He was the catalyst to absorb and rescend what sins man had performed and needed to be purged, therefore he was born of mans sins and didnt view himself as the son of a supreme being.
