I don't know why anyone would bash Creflo because he is one of the better teachers and preachers. I think that God does bless His people and what father does not want to bless his children? It makes sense to me that God would also want His children blessed! I am not saying that we should worship God for what He gives us. I am just saying that the Lord always provides and there is a plan to this provision. I want to know what the Bible has to say about it and Creflo is anointed to teach. He is very good at it! I think the Lord's people need instruction in this area and Creflo is a good instructor called to give God's people this information. I see nothing wrong with this at all! God bless him and his ministry!

Because they ask for money to help the poor. They preach generosity and rarely help anyone but themselves.
They are super rich. All television evangelists are on Forbes list of 400 richest men in America. Saw a special on it and Olson had 120 million for one revival. They showed there lavish homes that were castles on huge estates with whole fleets of jets.
Show one think it was Robertson, give until it hurts and if your eating meat your not giving enough. Then it went to this party he gave for his daughter like a 10,000 dollar birthday party.
to me that is extortion. If you want to give the Baptist pays into a mother church and actually does something with the money and the preachers get a small salary. He actually knows everyone in the congregation and can be there when grandma dies or your little sister gets married. These television Evangelists are movie stars who make a lot of money off religion and I think that is extortion. I am not against people making money, I am against them doing it under false pretenses.

I am a Christian, but I do not want to be poor. God never said that having money or material things is bad. It's only bad when the desire for these things take priority in your life. People think the saying goes "Money is the root of all evil"...WRONG! The actual saying is "The Love of money is the root of all evil". I am neither rich nor poor. I give my tithes, and help others when I can. I pray for God to bless me and mine and he does so in amazing ways. Wealthy people shouldn't brag about their status, either. "Pride cometh before a fall." And even if I end up being poor on Earth, I will prosper in the end because God has prepared my mansion in Heaven...won't you join me?

Maybe I'm a killjoy. But humanity is a day late and a dollar short on many
things. Christians I feel are being decieved. Thinking everything is
wonderful, when everything is going to turn to POOP!
Evil wants this, so they will get mad and turn from God and Jesus in the
coming Tribulation!

I believe being Christian is vitally NOT being rich and happy. There is more depth in life as wealth and happiness on earth cannot be carried to the other side of the world - heaven or hell.

Because they do not understand prosperity. People look at prosperity from a financial and materialistic view only but prosperity is more than that. It is wholestic and complete, nothing missing and nothing broken.

i think it is because people don't want to give their money to the church.
also they know historically some church folk have lied in order to swindle poor folks out of money.
also some have a misguided belief that holy folks should be poor.
and others think if you preach about not bing poor but rich that you will lose your chiristan values and just use God to make you rich.
prosperity is not just about money though.

b/c its not about being happy, its about being righteous. look at the wealthy life of the apostles then comment a little bit. now should we be poor? absolutely not! but we shouldn't be abundant in wealth while people we interact with daily go hungry either

Good post my friend...excellent....why be poor, especially when The Bible promises those who serve the Lord WILL prosper.
"This book of the law shall not depart from thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous and then thou shalt have good success". ( Joshua 1:8)
