It depends on what the reason for your thinning hair is. If hair falls out in patches, Rogaine will not help it and might even make it worse. If it is thinning a bit around the part or all over, it might help. The only thing is that it takes a while before it begins to take effect, and must be used twice a day permanently. If you use it for a year and then quit when your hair starts to regrow, all the new hair you regrew will fall it.

You should consult with a dermatologist to find out the reason for thinning hair first. He or she can give you a better idea if you have a problem that Rogaine might be able to help with.

My friend uses it and it does work but it took her 2-3 months to first start seeing results then it worked great.
