i am doing a project for photo and i believe that my teacher said something about a 'B' setting for cameras to take night shots. can anyone help me? i have a minolta Maxxum 3 with no guide or anything. thanks! ^_^

It does not have a bulb setting.
From their site:
SHUTTER Type: Electronically-controlled, vertical-traverse, focal-plane type
Speed: 1/2000-30 seconds
Flash Sync Speed: 1/90 second or slower

Go through your camera's menu settings for your shutter speed. It should be there. It's the bulb setting, and with it your shutter stays open for as long as you press the shutter button. It's for longer exposures. If this isn't enough help, I can look online and see if there is a camera manual somewhere to download.
