If you have an iPod go to iTunes and search on the podcasts section, they have free lessons in Spanish, Italian, French, Japanese etc for you to download.
I have learned some French & Italian, theyre so easy!

Get some sort of book with a cd rom to pronounce the words for you.
Make many flashcards and practice them every chance you get. Take them with you everywhere.
Emerse yourself in the language as much as possible. Listen to Spanish music. Watch Spanish TV. Doing these sorts of things will help you pick up on the language much quicker.

You can to speak spanish with a simple questions like:
What's your name? = ¿cómo te llamas?
Where are you from? = ¿de dónde eres?
How old are you? = ¿cuántos años tienes?
Where do you live? = ¿dónde vives?
What do you like? = ¿qué te gusta?
are studying or working? = ¿estás estudiando o trabajando?
which is your favorite food? = ¿Cuál es tu comida favorita?
etc., etc., etc.
