I've read that there are other stories that came before Jesus' that seem similar to His (ie born of a virgin, walking on water, resurrection).
Do believe that this is true?
Do you have a reliable source?

Not really. There are somewhat similar stories, but not quite.
Many of them were put into writing AFTER Christ lived, not before.

Do I have a reliable source? I have many different sources which I've taken knowledge from, both books and websites.
It would take forever to list them all here.

The "story of Jesus" is not a story. It is a fact. Satan has certainly counterfeited the Truth with stories that reflect similarities to the Truth. Some of these stories were around many years before Christ walked on the earth. You can find stories in all other religions, but the Truth is no story.

The Gospel according to Luke

1Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled[a] among us, 2just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word. 3Therefore, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, it seemed good also to me to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, 4so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.
