LMAO. I think it's so funny when people "rebuke" people "in the name of Jesus." I think it's funny because I wonder who these people think they are. Are they God's right hand man?!

Basically means that person feels you have said something against God and that perhaps Satan is using you to get to them. You rebuke Satan by rebuking what that person did or said. No, those of us who do that do not think we are "God's right hand" as a previous answer suggested, but God gives us that power to turn Satan away from us.

They rebuked you for wanting to burn the bible. One person gave you the best possible advise, so take it and change your life for good. See quote as follows:

Yikes! Well, I've found that the best thing after a rebuking is a cookie and a glass of milk. Bananas and milk is a good combination, too.

Anytime someone rebukes you, it means they thought you cursed them, so they are rebuking it in jesus name. So you do nothing. You can bless them and if they are not worthy of the blessing, it comes back to you and you get blessed. Now if you curse them and they are not worthy of it, then yo get cursed. Or you can leave it to God to sort out.
