For some reason, the left side of my nose bridge tends to have small muscle spasms whenever I get aggravated about something. I didn't really think there was muscle or anything like that up there to speak of.

Plus, my neck and sometimes my upper tends to have pretty small spasms if I get really, really mad. Normal reaction to strong emotions?

Yes, as a matter of fact my right upper lip once started twitching 3 or 4 weeks before I was to fly out to visit a friend for the fisrt time alone. The twitching stopped when I returned safely home, so I equated it with being anxious.

Normal? No. Common? Yes. It's usually something like one's back muscles, not the side of the nose bridge, but it can be any muscle. For awhile, it was a muscle under my eye twitching.

I take magnesium supplements now and don't have as bad a problem.
