Last night a very good documentry was on about an older black gentleman that was blind all of his life and played the blues, he was showing the reporter the field he and his family used to pick cotton in, my sister said how could he do that without cutting his fingers, since he is blind?
I said I think it's like anything else that you learn from a young age if you were born blind...any thoughts????

Hi Lexia, Don't pay any attention to the others. Your totally right, but i bet he did cut is fingers, until he got the hang of it. He sounds like a very sweet old gentleman.

when one of our 5 senses is faulty, the other 4 makes up for it, when a person is blind, his touch is more sensitive, hearing more acute, able to detect odors a normal person would missed, can remember things that we normally would forgets, his life depends on it

Sweetie you might put this in a more appropriate category than Singles & Dating, so you'll get more applicable responses.
