I have an incredibly thick hair and I'm really having hard time getting a perfect hair cut. My hair "bunches up" when I have it cut short. Please help!

I have really thick hair too. I found that layering it helps so much but you have to make sure the shortest of layers still go below your ears so that they can weigh down the rest of your hair (and you can tuck your hair behind them on days you don't have time to fix your hair). Also, thining it out usually makes it worse. Bangs are usually a pretty bad idea too unless they are long enough to frame your chin. Keep your hair length more at a medium so that there is enough hair there to weigh it down but it is still managable. Try a shoulder length cut. If pulling your hair back is really important to you go only a little past your shoulders.

Layers are almost always the way to go when someone has thick hair. Whatever you do though, don't get it thinned out. Thick hair has natural volume. Other people spend money and time trying to get their hair that way! Hope that helps some.

Layers will make it not so thick. As for the bunching up you need to maybe straighten your hair and add a lot of leave in conditioner.

A layered long bob with wispy bangs and the section angled in direction of the face. The layers supply you physique and bounce, and the thin wispy bangs will supply the hair on the right of your head some volume. the perimeters will compliment and physique your face. stable success!!

Leave your hair long and straight and always go to the salon to trim it every 3 weeks.

Try getting it "thinned" out? It really makes a difference!
