Need to take the bingings off, and shred the pages. Take them out of the shredder, fluff them a bit,. put them in the fireplace, and put a lighted match as close to the middle as you can before your fingers burn off.
Honestly, some people have no pride in their work.

Try the method the king did in Jeremiah 36. He cut out three or four pages at a time and burned them.
Jeremiah 36:21 So the king sent Jehudi to fetch the roll: and he took it out of Elishama the scribe's chamber. And Jehudi read it in the ears of the king, and in the ears of all the princes which stood beside the king.
36:22 Now the king sat in the winterhouse in the ninth month: and there was a fire on the hearth burning before him.
36:23 And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth.

So you belong to the book burners, eh? What about freedom of speech and religion. That book must really make you feel uneasy. Never in my life have I felt the need to burn any book, let alone the Words of God. Little men have tried to rid the world of the bible and the bible is still here while those men are cold in their graves

If you don't want your bible, why don't you just throw it out, or give it to someone else.
Why will you spend effort on burning it and finding out the best way to do it.
It shows you are angry at God for some reason. I know I've been in the past. Anyway, hope things get better for you. Don't burn the bible, give it to someone or leave it somewhere that someone might see it. Or just keep it locked somewhere in your house. Maybe one day, if your anger goes away, you might read it again. Anway, good luck.

Pour on a pint of gasoline and let it soak in for about half an hour, first. It will then burn to ashes in less than a minute. Back off about 30 feet as quickly as you can after using a long-stick match.

Taking the Bible to heart is the best way to allow it to burn. Once you open your mind and heart to the message and allow it to enter into your being, then the real burn for the Love of God develops. Stronger than any man made fire is the Love of the Lord.
God Bless and Merry Christmas.

A better way to burn it is to decide that it has absolutely no value without ever taking the time to read and study it and think for yourself.

When Bibles wear out, the proper method is to burn them. I usually do it in the hottest part of the fireplace. No problems then.

It is complete blasphemy to God to burn His bible. You would be burning the Word of God. God, by the way, is the creator of every good and perfect thing including your life and the air you breathe. I would advise you to open your Bible not to burn it but to read it. The Bible is amazing and so much more.
