Or Bhuddist or Christian or Jewish or Hara Krishna or Seventh Day Advantist or any religion. You're not the only one to do this and in what amount and with what humbleness and there is so much to any religion or atheist than just listing a few good characteristics proves nothing.. I'm sure you're a fine person and hope you think deeply and philosophically and don't tie it to any one way of thinking. It's not all about you or all about the name It's all about everything and depth and energy and discovery and embracing where you can.
Religion or non-religion belief is a boardwalk under our feet. It's what grounds us as we look about the world and declare ourselves and share our actions for better or worse.

At least you admit atheism is a religion.
Well, I guess my answer would be something like,
I can never smoke, I can never drink, I can give my body and blood to charity, volunteer for 60 years, but unless I obey God it will do me no good.
Seeking one's own righteousness is not something new. It has been here since creation.
A lot of people think God just accepts you "as you are". Well then why did He make Laws?
(I've always wanted to say this to an athiest)

Your solutions do no longer probable relate to faith all that a lot. however the way you answer them could say you likely come from christians or Buddhists yet you your self have your individual way of thinking of issues in different words : atheist yet do you relatively have self assurance which you will get genuine meat anymore? have faith me that McDonald's burger isn't created from any meat in any admire

not drinking or smoking has nothing to do with your religion. nor does giving or volunteering. that has to do with who you are as a person. but since you are giving i suppose there is hope for you yet.
