OKays,,,for anyone who went to a big highschool or lives in a big city and went to school with a large Arab (mostly Lebanese) population...did you ever notice how most of the guys think they are big Pimps or Gangsters? OMG it drives me CRAZY!! They always try and talk like the rappers like 50Cent and any other cool rapper guy. Ufffff...why do they act like this? I just want to go up to a Leb guy who is talking like this "yo shawty i juz be wonderin' if yall wanna shake dat wit me sum time,,,KNOW WHA AM SAYIN'?" aahahahah they ALWAYS say "KNOW WHA AM SAYIN'" like they are from Snoop's neighborhood. Anyone else notice this? Btw am not hating on Arabs cuz I am one but am from KSA, not Lebanon or Palestine.

Gods, i'm glad i'm not your age. That would drive me up the wall.
I guess they do it cuz
1. They think it's cool.
2. It gets them female companionship.
3. All their friends do it and they don't want to be left out.
4. They see it all over TV and throughout the entertainment/music/athletic worlds--and those people are definitely cool--so the person who copies such attitudes becomes cool, too, right?
It's a funny thing, your high school years. People that age STRENUOUSLY ***demand*** that their parents and teachers and the other adults in their lives treat them as individuals, as distinct and different from anyone else in the world.
But...
They ALL (boys *and* girls, honey, sorry to tell you) dress alike and act alike and pose alike and wear the same makeup and do their hair alike and adopt the same speech patterns and listen to the same music and have the same teen-aged impatience in their voices when dealing with sibs and on and on and on.
We did it, too, we who have (finally) outgrown that kind of "individualism". (-;

You should hand out mirrors so these people can have a look and see
that they are NOT black. It is so irritating. White kids do it too. Even my
own flesh and blood talk so strangely that I want to scream.
