Hey…I know I never really knew you, and you never really knew me, but for the past year, I’ve had feelings for you. Maybe it’s because we both like NIN and you seem like a cool person to chill with, but I’m honestly not sure. I’m sorry if it sounds creepy and all, but it’s been difficult lately, having to change schools and still feeling this way about you. So I was hoping that either way, whether you think you will ever want to hang out and be friends, or if you’re not even interested, that you could just tell me. Either way it would definitely help release the pain I am feeling, so that I could move on and just get over it. I know this sounds like a strange idea, but if you can, please just let me know... I think it's great! Straightforward.
Personnally I'd put : Either way it would definitely help to know how you feel, so that we could just move on and get over it.
that way it doesn't sound so dramatic.
I agree with AG... (and most people!)

I think you might want to hold off on the letter..ask your crush to hang out-as just friends. from the sound of your letter you dont know eachother that well. so try to take some time to get to them and see if their friendship is even worth pursuing. take it slow. who knows, maybe hell confess he likes you too.

oh my god thats a sweet letter.......i would love a letter like that from a girl if i was a guy but i am not a guy but i am just sayin if i WAS a guy then i would like that kind of letter.....thats a sweet letter u should really keep it the way u have it ok?...well i hope u keep it that way its sweet and it sounds like it is from the heart!
