I haven't been seeing him long and we are really close, but I really don't have that much money to spend on big gifts. So do you think that a night where it's all his choice and I will do anything would be a good gift?

You are offering to have a night of his choosing whatever he wants to do and nothing is off limits? I am a guy and that is what I hear. If it is what you mean then you are foolish. What if he has a disease he has not disclosed yet because he fears you will not like him? Guys and girls do that crap all the time. That is how AIDS/HIV and other diseases are transmitted.
Then you risk getting what he has- and a "shot" from the doc may not cure it. Plus you run the risk of mixing your gene pool with a guy you hardly know, which if you decide later you can not stand him it may be too late because you have created a permanent link via a kid.
Find another gift, dear.

I' dont think that you should give yourself up to him until you are ready, you don't need to be pressured into sex, just because you do not have any money. There are lots of things you can do with little money. If you are planning on having sex, use apporiate measures.
