I have eliminated spicy foods and anything with caffeine or carbonation from my diet. I take Levbid medication. I have had a colonoscopy and EGD. I can't get rid of my pain. Any ideas on what may be the problem?

i am 35 yrs old and my pain started when i was in high school. first they said it was an ulcer. then i started having cysts on my ovaries sometimes they would be as big as grapefruits. so as soon as i had all the kids i wanted i had to have a hysterectomy done. found out i had endometriosis. that was 6 yrs ago. for the past couple of yrs i have been having major pains in the pelvic area. i have had colonoscopys and egds several times. i have even had my gallbladder removed. last year i woke up at 3am in so much pain it was worse than labor pains i was in hospital for a week and they didn't find anything. I've had several laproscopic surgeries done. for the past 7 months i have been on pain meds ranging from methadone, stadol nasal spray to morphine. they have finally found out what is causing the pain and its called vaginal vault prolapse. i will probably have to have surgery to fix it. any way if you want to talk about it more you can email me at brandy8muns@yahoo.com or IM me my screen name is toots2000.

it could be gastritis?? is the pain in the lower or upper part of your stomach??
you should give more details about this to get better answers.
like when does it hurt? all the time or after you eat or when you have a movement or when you exercise?? what kind of pain is it? sharp, or dull or what? are you lactose intolerant?? are you constipated or have diarrhea? whats levbid for? is it a pain med or a healing med or is it for something else?
do you get the pain after you take this med? the problem could also be on the outside of your intestines. also it could have something to do with you gall bladder. my doctor insisted there was nothing wrong with my gall bladder because i never threw up. i ended up having a gall stone the size of a large marble. i also have gastritis which can cause a lot of pain. doctors don't know everything, they only think they do.

you should go back to see your doctor about this. insist that he send you to a gastrointestinal specialist.
i wish you luck. i know what it's like.
