What you may be experiencing pre-judgement based on your looks - I see that several people here have already indicated they think you are shallow and arrogant based on one question they know about you without knowing any thing else.
Unfortunately people are judged by looks - For instance considering that attractive people are always happy because other people think they are pretty.
Or that if they are successful, it was based on getting by on looks.
For women in business it is true that people might not take you seriously if display an excessive amount of sex appeal. That edge can become the glass ceiling...
It may be that you will need to work harder to see past their assumptions. And hopefully this will make you more sensitive to how unfairly we judge each other with labels.

there is such a thing as TOO CONCEITED
besides, beauty is in the eye of the beholder
to some you're probably ugly

growing up I was always treated different because I was good looking. things came easier for me than others. soon I took others kindness for granted and always was confused at how I ended up in awkward sexual situations. soon I wanted nothing more than to be judged not by my appearance but for who I was. As the beauty faded the humility took over. Oh had I only studied instead of being admirered . at least I can see myself as just a person instead of growing ugly with a spoiled ugly personality.

Yes, it is called vanity and it short circuits beauty like a discount light switch bought at Big Lots and shuts the whole works down.

wow! you must be my twin cuz everyone talks about my beauty too!................NOT!!! We all have flaws,blemishes, whatever you want to call it....no-one is perfect. You need to get over yourself and quickly.btw~~no matter how beautiful someone is on the outside,its the inside that matters.And,no, I'm not an ugly person writing this.I just happen to be an honest person, with a cute, friendly face!

Yes, if you rely on your beauty too much, and don't develop a heart or a mind to go with it. Or if you only pay attention to the guys who hit on you, and don't notice the ones who don't. (That's not a complaint, just an observation.)
