I was raped(see my other ?) by a friend. He apoligized and a while later I forgave him. Is he using tis to keep me from telling anyone(like the cops) or to get close and do it again??

What are the chances of him doing this again?? Can he really change?? Does he feel different now?? I forgave him but he is trying to get closer than "friends" again.

I think he would again if he's trying to get close to you. He needs help and so do you. I don't think I would be so forgiving.

You obviously were NOT raped. He may have went further than you wanted him to, but this is clearly not the behavior of someone who has been raped. How do you forgive the person that raped you because he apologized? The fact that he did it once increase the chances of him doing it again. Yea, it's possible that he MAY change, but then again, maybe NOT! What would he have to feel different about? It was very DUMB on your part to NOT report it to the police. You just left an opportunity for someone else to be "raped".

Trust your gut girl! Don't be a victim again. You are the only one who can protect you. Be honest with yourself and get out of that situation. Rape is not normal. It is a result of someone's messed up brain and perspective on life and on women. Does that sound like a characteristic that changes so quickly? He needs help and out of your life. Why even risk it? Find a new friend. One that doesn't rape you.

Yes, he will rape again--if he escapes punishment for what he did to you, he will do it to another woman. He'll think he can talk his way out of it.
I was raped when I was younger, and I KNOW it's not easy to accuse somebody of rape. It's the hardest thing you'll ever have to do. And it's very sweet that you found it in your heart to forgive.
But you need to think about the next girl he rapes--and he WILL do it again. Do you want the rape of another girl (or girls) on your conscience? You have the power to stop him...and hard as it is, you have to step up and be a hero.

I'm sorry hun but there is no excusing or forgiving someone that does something like that. He knows he screwed up big time but that doesn't mean he won't do it again. Please do not become a victim of his mind games as well. For a man to do something like that is despicable. A woman says no that means no. You do not force yourself on anyone. What he needs is a couple of years in county being overpowered and demeaned.
I'm sorry you had to go through something like that.

Hun, this guy invaded your personal space and your possibly your virginity (idk) but do not trust him, he is bad, he did something bad to you. I know what it's like, i was raped as well, and it's not fun, not in the least, and never forgave this guy and i never will, he invaded me. all the advice i can give you is that it's not fair to YOU to take a chance on him doing it again, and it's not alright for HIM to get the pleasure of doing it again (if he does.)

You need to report this immediately. Do you really wanting him raping other women? How could you live with yourself if you knew that happened and you could have prevented it. Your friend is a very sick man and needs professional help.

The chances of him doing this again are huge! Please please tell your local authoritys about this. My cousin was raped, and died to years ago of AIDS! she didnt tell anyone ethier! im not saying that he has AIDS but please get yourself checked! this man (or boy) did something harably worng. Do your parents know? the first thing u need to do is tell them! Please tell the cops, he will do this agian!
