Depends on the shape of your face.

Not enough information.

For anybody that is a little overweight, having length in your hair will help to balance out the face. I'm not sure whether this person has curly or straight hair. Try playing around with it and trying different hairstyles. Eventually you will find on that suits her. Or try going to the hairdressing academy in the city or in some suburbs. Get some advise there and it will be much cheaper there.

Anything with lots of height and past the chin length. Short hair only looks good one certain face types. Chin-length bobs are okay, but can bring attention to double-chins and chubby cheeks. A nice layered cut past the shoulder and flips out with a hair-straightner are the best looks right now that are in-style.

Anything that is not short. Some nice long layers would probably be best. Longer hair draws attention downwards, and makes the face appear to be narrower than it really is. So, just don't do any short cuts. Hope that helps =]

Hair down is better than up because your head and hair is wider so it doesn't make you look as wide. I am the same as you and my hair is layered just past the shoulders. I straighten it every day even though it is naturally straight and it looks great. Now people pay attention to my awesome hair instead of my not so awesome body!

You know the best thing to do is, go to one of the beauty salons that have that new computer program. It thats a picture of you, than displays it on a screen, so you can try different lengths, colors, and styles. On your own face,so you can see before you choose a disaster.

I think long like past her shoulders and straight or wavy, whatever her natural hair is. If possible straight on the sides to downplay if she has a double chin. Maybe bangs to bring attention to her eyes and a cute bow or pin on the side.

My cousin told me that she avoided bangs and that she usually has her hair in a ponytail because she is over weight

big, loose curls are the way to go. straight hair will make the weight too obvious.
