Like, the one with straight hair that is big and poofy at the top, but just normal at the bottom, like Ahley Tisdale wears her hair a lot like this when she wears it down?

Please don't do that.
That look was horrid the first time around.
But if you must, it is accomplished with a buttload of hairspray, a hair dryer, a hairbrush and a comb. You spray it, dry it, and tease it with a brush and a comb. Then repeat. And repeat. And repeat........

When you dry your hair, find the nearest cat. Grab the cat and squeeze it (cause it's fuzzy and cute) and then rub your head all over the cat. It will make your hair look better than Ashley's...she will wonder how you did it. You can tell her that you learned this trick from some weirdo on Yahoo Answers and become big and famous, while I work in the mines trying to afford my baby's education...

It looks like a weave to me. In some of the photos, the bottom 6 inches separates into tails.
