Wash your face very often throughout the day.
Use a non-alcohol based toner. While alcohol dries the oil immediately, your glands will overcompensate and produce more oil.
Use Corn Silk powder between washing. It absorbs oil and it's translucent.

whatever you do, dont overwash your face as some of the answers have been suggesting. Washing your face too often will strip away natural oils that your skin NEEDS, and so it will produce more to compensate for those that have been stripped away. Too much scrubbing, washing and treating the skin will over stimulate it and irritate it. Wash twice a day, morning and evening with a gentle cleanser, follow with a tea tree/witch hazel toner, and then moisturise, i recommend clean and clear dual action moisturiser. Apply a clay mask once a week which will draw out impurities and absorb oils, queen helene mint julep mask is really good, if you live in the US you can get it at walgreens etc. If you live in the UK, have a look on ebay for it. If you cant find it, tescos do a purifying mask in a sachet in the skin wisdom range for about 97p. i also recommend MAC's blot powder, which you can get from www.maccosmetics.co.uk. hope this helps!

BEST TIP!!!!!!!! I HAVE THE oilest/combination skin apply milk of magnesia on a cotton ball gently dab the oily areas they will stay matte and non oily for at least half of the day. dont apply to much cause it an look a little pasty unless you fair skin.this works because magnesium controls oil levels in the skin.

Don't use ANY moisturizer or cosmetic products containing oil. Exfoliate w/ gentle buf-puf every other day, with neutrogena pore refining cleanser. Use witch hazel as a toner. Never use alcohol. If you strip your skin, it will try to make extra oil to compensate. If you tend to get shiny through the day, try using abonne bio-matte powder before applying makeup. Good luck.

You CAN'T get rid of oil skin. sorry. whatever you do though don't rub alcohol on your face every night, it will dry out your skin causing your oil glands to produce even more oil. that would be a dumb thing to do. Just wash your face 2 times a day, and blot with blotting sheets to absorb the oil or swipe it with some sheer powder.
