is he worth the wait?

this boy, lets call him ryan
well i liked ryan & he liked me
but he had a girlfriend;
but recently, he broke up with her for me! =D

so today, i asked him, "do you like me"
& he said yessss` <3
& i was like, "i like you too" :)

but he said he didn't wanna MOVE TOO FAST.
& that he`s gonna ask me out in like 3 days or next week
he said he didn`t want to seem like a player
you know, moving on from one girl to another

i also think he didn`t want his girlfriend
to think he dumped her for me
even when he did.

so yeah, should i wait?
b/c i do like him,
& i respect him not wanting to hurt his ex gf.

If he dumped another girl for you, he will dump you for another girl. Do not make the mistake of over-evaluating your self-worth by saying, 'He would never do that to me."

AWWW!!! That is so sweet! I would say 3 days to a week is NOT long at all considering how many people out there are all alone! Wait for him, you'll be glad you did! Let him settle out of just getting out of a relationship and figure out what he really wants if you force him to move too fast....you might be forcing him into something he really does not want to do and you might get hurt in the end.......he might have just dumped his gf to play the field......or to move in on you......there might be a possible chance that he might go back to her not saying he will but you never know........wait it out. If he just is hanging out and keeps consistently stauling then you have a problem....I say give him like 3 weeks and if he hasn't made a move (meaning asking you to be his gf) He's probaly only looking for one thing and one thing only or that he is just scared to get into another realtionship.....but don't be to possessive or controlling you might scare him off or you might make him think that you a reminding him of his x and thats not what he wants!! I'd wait, but set a time limit so you're not waiting forever. If you really like the guy then waiting 2 weeks (or whatever you decide to wait) isn't going to kill you. At least he sounds like he's nice enough because going straight from her to you would upset the ex.

You said you liked him. Is anything good worth waiting for? Yes of course they are. He is not only showing respect and consideration for his ex, but you yourself will benefit from that in your relationship with him also. Why throw that away? Let him be the man and respect his wishes. What have you got to lose?

Yes!!!!!! You should definatly wait for him. He sounds very sweet for waiting, but he's not waiting to long. Plus, you do like him. He obviously like you alot or he would have not dupped his current girlfriend for you. The question is, how many girlfriends has he had in the past? Is he a player?

Yes I think you should.. I've been in that situation I dumped my ex boyfriend who treated me like ****.. for someone who I liked better.. but decided to wait a bit.. so that... you know it gave my ex time to get over me and i didnt want to seem like I switched from guy to guy.. It doesnt seem like hes the type of guy to .. cheat or play you.. or anything so I think its safe to wait:D

Well if you really like him then you hold wait...but if he has you waiting longer kick him to the curb right away I mean how long does a boy need.If he really did dump her for you then I would wait!
