They are not illegal if they have papers to cross into the US

I don't think any Mexican is but it's betting odds alot are. I mean 20 million, to how many legally? How do they know every white person in America is American and deserving to be wiped out when they could be from some other English speaking country just waiting their turn to be a citizen? The generalizations aren't a one way street. You wouldn't know if you saw me in the street if I was a white pro-illegal or not, but I get flipped off and treated rudely anyway. You wouldn't know if I was a legal immigrant on the anti side because of the all the time and money I've spent going about it legally and have no opinion of Mexicans except I don't want them to get a free ride while I played by the rules. You wouldn't know that I have my stuff checked all the time because I have a polish last name and the 2nd most used false identies are polish. False assumptions are made towards this side as well.

As long as they cross at a "port of entry" and are cleared by a Customs officer, fine. But if they tip toe through the desert, swim across, hide in the trunk of a car, get thrown over the fence or river in a catapult, let me just stop there,bettter yet, if this person or persons are not officially cleared to enter the United States, then they are "illegal". By the way, I "have" to add this since I am on the topic, I am sure that everyone has heard the term, "wet back" (because they crossed the river). Have you heard the term, "scratch back"? This means they went under the fence. LOL

Because the Mexicans who are legal and been through
the process will not be crossing the border by sneaking
in at night, climbing fences, going hungry, paying some
truck driver to drive them inland, etc. etc. They can now
hold their head up high and come in normally showing
their paperwork and there's no problem and no risk of
getting caught, shot, or worse.

We do not all believe that at all !!! There are many great originally Mexican peoples here in the US. Now they are US citizens and not Mexican :Nationals. BIG DIFFERENCE!! They are still Mexican people but they are US citizens first and not Mexican Nationals. That is the difference;
Illegal entry into this country means you have no respect for our country and that is all there is too it..

Well actually, if they don't have a US citizenship, or get checked in through the border checkpoint, or green card, then they ARE illegal.
Would you argue the same point if someone was breaking into your house and later told the police you couldn't prosecute because he was "just taking a shortcut"?
28% off our inmate prison population is comprised of illegal immigrants.
The bulk of our national supply of crystal meth that is destroying our country comes from mexico and is ferried over by the same people who haul the illegals.
Seems to me you have a problem understanding that "illegal" means you are breaking the "law".

I don't know *ANYONE* that thinks or believes that. But if you really, really look hard I suppose that there might be one or two that might give that impression....But with the Millions of illegals that *are* Mexican it doesn't really matter that much.

Because people on crack think weird stuff. My husband is Mexican and he crossed the border and he is legal. If someone doesn't like it they can go take a hike. People always have to be talking crap about Mexicans cause they have nothing better to do.
