How serious is this. She next has to have an MRA where they will get more detail on exactly how blocked the 6 arteries internal external and carotid actually are. Her mom died at age 51 of cerebral vascular accident. Any info is appreciated.

My dad had this and I just want to say he is alive and well, I was so scared as you are I am sure. They will go and either clean the blockage or they will replace the artery with another artery. they took a main artery from my fathers leg and replaced it with the one that was clogged. I hope I am making sense.
She will have to change her life, eat healthy, exercises the whole nine yards. She will be fine. Since then my father has had to clear his arteries out a couple of times she will be OK
sorry to hear and good luck! take care of her!!!

This doens't sound good. ANy form of blockage is bad but I heard that anything above 50% is really bad.

You actually have to ask. Do some research and inform yourself. IT IS SERIOUS.
