I LOVE FORDS!. I have worked at Ford dealerships for over 20 years. Once I was recruited & took a job at another manufacturer & stuck it out for 2 years, but then I came back to Ford & stayed with them.
I study everything about the auto business & I have been offered many jobs at other dealerships...service, finance, sales, managment.....you name it.....Other manufacturers have approached me & I prefer to stay exactly where I am.
I Love the product that I sell. I Love the family owned (not my family) dealership that I work for.
I Love my customers & they Love their vehicles .
(they must love me too ....cuz they keep coming back to me & buying again & again)
As for the comfort of the GT seats......I couldn't tell you....I don't dare sit in a $200,000+ vehicle ,that sits so low to the ground.
I'ld need some sort of a device to put me in & get me out ( I have bad knees)( I also have a hard time climbing up into some of the big trucks I sell) BUT that doesn't stop me from selling them! LOL!
SO if you want to order one............?

When you buy an extreme high end racing car like a Ford GT or a Lamborghini they are not very comfortable, the seats are hard and shaped to keep you from moving too much,And the ride is really harsh.
Probably the best all around sports car these days, And have a good reliability record is a Porsche. Being a mechanic I know. A Ferrari has a 1st time tune up cost of about $30,000 The remove the engine and pull out parts and replace them with new ones....!!!!!! On the first freakin tuneup!.
Most of the high strung cars like that wear the engine out quickly... That's why you never see a Ferrari with 100,000 miles on it. If you do it's had at least 2 engine replacements.
The Ford GT might have a longer life span than the Italian cars, But The Porsches stay running stronger longer.
And no I'm not a Porshe nut. But I'm just stating the truth

I LOVE Ford vehicles. Since I got married over 37 years ago we have had all Fords but three and two were Classic cars. The third was a piece of junque PT Cruiser that we got rid of when it had under 10,000 on it and it was only 5 years old. Anyway, we now have a 1998 Expedition that looks brand new, a 2004 Mustang convertible, a 2005 Mustang GT, and MY lovely, wonderful 2006 Fusion which I dearly love. My husband is a whiz with cars and also knows the value of good maintenance.
I would never in a million trillion years even consider buying foreign car especially an Asian one. Keep your eye out! Those companies are killing the American economy and we are letting them.
Get the GT! What fun!

I love my 1994 Ford Ranger. Has over 131,000 miles on it and it still runs great. I had two Ford Escorts prior to the Ranger and I never had a problem with either one of them. Don't know much about the Ford GT, so I cannot help out here. But, my personal opinion for my Ford vehicles is very favourable.

Ford makes an excellent vehicle, I very own a number of purely now and have been a widespread shopper of used Ford automobiles for 2 many years. yet Honda's are uniquely solid and difficulty loose. Why Ford is obviously producing the terrific American autos based upon the buyer comments annual survey outcomes, Honda's tutor fewer long term issues. The significant distinction in long term sturdiness seems to be info interior the way the engines, transmissions and vehicle electric powered systems are finished. basically slightly much less "fee engineering" referred to. My Honda's run 300K miles oftentimes. My Fords, 150K - 200K in the previous they have extreme matters with physique integrity, tranny's and so on.

Sure ! The Ford GT is assembled about 2 miles from my home.
It is a sure bet for a collectible car, bringing well more then
retail price at major auctions. I have met some owners and
tney are very happy. Especially with the service and support
you get from the dealers. Yes, it is not a luxury car,
but it screams American boldness in design and power.
As you may have guessed I work for Ford in quality engineering.
I have friends whom are GT crazy, know every nut and bolt and would be glad to answer any questions you may have.

I have always like Ford in general, some of the models have left much to be desired, but that is what customizing is all about...
I have a 1986 F350 Quadcab Diesel Dually that runs like a champ!
The next few projects include:
New seats, new carpet to match, taking care of rocker panels and cab corners, going with a black w/pearl paint
separate guages instead of the one piece cluster...
K&N airfilter
and
Sidepipes (with the requisite cut-outs installed...)
