How bad are polyps?

I was just wondering because my cats vet said she may have some in her inner ear so she can't walk right, i'm just wondering do they go away or what, and she gave her medicine so she seems to be better everday or so.

polyps in the inner ear? not a known condition for man at least, if the medicine is helping your feline, it must be good, have fun,

actually I just looked it up.
A growth that protrudes into the lumen of the bowel there are two types of polyps: hyperplastic and adenomas.
