try aloe, or olive oil....any essential oil really....but stay away from products that contain mineral oil, and petroleum...cuz it's harder for the scalp to absorb these and it leads to clogging which leads to build up...also try switching to a milder shampoo. gud luck!

Go to a beauty store that sells hair for african americans, usually those nice ladies can point you in the right direction since your hair and skin require different care than other races. Try using a special shampoo from the hair salons to help with dry scalp or the product "Pink"

pantene pro-v for relaxed & natural hair - theres a whole line - i would reccomend the moisturizer a/o the oil sheen - for somthing more long lasting id say the Kuza line - its thick so you can use a little and it will go a long time - also it will help ur hair grow heathier :) hope i helped

I recomend using a Salvadorean product called sapuyulo. Sapuyulo 2oz
Avoids dandruff, hair loose and split ends.
Look it up, it worked for me and I have tought curly hair, I think it should work for your friend.

im taking aout my micros and girl my hair is really dry i used pantene pro v for weman of color get the kind for moisture i have that i love it and it helps your hair grow it have maio acids in it which is a really good vitaims that we need to have in are hair ( PANTENE PR V (RELAXED AND NATURAL) I HAVAE ALL NAURAL HAIR NO PERM AT ALL AND MY HAIR IS REALLY CURLY

well if you wanna avoid really pricey stuff, use head and shoulders. it works really good without it being so expensive, and your hair smells REALLY good! always a plus. lol
