Book your hotel ahead of time (Silom Road and Sukhumvit Road - are the 2 main tourist hotel zones). If you don't you book ahead, u can go to the Hotel Desk at Arrival at the Bangkok Airport and book one there - but you will waste 10-20 minutes doing that - and you need to pre-pay for the hotel. There is a taxi line outside and it costs 200-350 baht for metered taxi to Bangkok hotels. There are many people who will approach you for an airport limo to take you - these are nicer cars (Volvos, Mercedes..) and cost 800 baht. Book your tours at your Bangkok Hotel - every hotel has a tourist desk - they all offer the same tours for the same price. If your hotel is small and does not have a tourist desk - walk outside or go to any mall, and there are dozens of them everywhere! Also - there are ATM machines everywhere too -so that is the best way to get cash.

I would suggest you have a Hotel reservations before you arrive. There are times many hotels booked. Most of the 3 to 5 star hotels have limo service from the airport, also many cabs to take you. Also the 3 to 5 star have tour packages that you can look at when you check in.

Yes, very convenient and easy!!! Just go down to your hotel downstairs, most of the hotels have travel agencies inside the hotel.
Ask them for the best rates to help you book the airport transfer, hotel stays and short-day tours in BKK.

If not, there're quite a number of travel agencies on the streets and in shopping malls, you can easily spot the agency and make your request to them and see what they can offer you!!!
