This advice is for both sexes. Pay attention to your partners' actions rather than their words. Learn to really listen and act upon what you hear or see. Don't expect your partners motivations or reactions to be anything like your own. Communicate. Learn to see things from your partners point of view. Understand your own faults and issues. When you're wrong, admit it. MEN: Don't bottle stuff up, share your problems.
WOMEN: Make definite distinctions between important and unimportant issues and make sure your partner knows which is which by telling him. Dropping subtle hints goes right over our heads, mostly.

Good luck... I think part of the problem is that there are too many individual differences. People change their wires based on one experience with the opposite sex, and it ends up being the wrong setup for the next person. There's no one set up that can make everyone happy... I wouldn't want the constraints anyway.

I think the code should be honesty, honesty and more honesty.
So lets say one or the other is attracted to another person to such an extent they want to cheat. Talk to your partner, if you can't resolve the issue together, then leave. It will hurt the other person, but not as much as a lie.

I have a suggestion!
Make reading and passing exams on the work of John Gray and Deborah Tanner a requirement to get out of high school.

There is very little difference between men and women - that should be the first understanding. But if men stop being asreholes and women bytches then we'd all get along.

A blonde walked into the library and suggested, "i'm going to have a cheeseburger and a extensive fry." The librarian appeared at her in amazement and suggested, "UM, ma'am, you're in a library!!" The blonde spoke back, (now whispering,) "Oh, excuse me, i could like a cheeseburger and a extensive fry!"
