Don't sweat the small stuff. You'll get up early, but you'll go to bed early too. Practice just getting 7-8 hours of sleep a day. Regardless whether it's early or late.

btw, it's Parris Island, SC.

Best thing is Start getting ready now!!! Start running and working out. You should have got a book when you signed up if not ask for one. There is everything you need to know before you go in in it. Quite a bit of stuff you will have to memorize.

You best start getting up very early and running, working out, and marching (hiking) your A$$ off till time to leave.
When you get there shut your brain off, they don't want it, they will handle that part. Get up at 5 am... take 10 minutes to $hit & shower, run a mile, do PT till you drop, eat at 6:30. Run another mile, do another hour of PT, then march for 2 hours, then run another mile, then eat a very fast lunch, then run another mile, then do another hour of PT. Sit for afternoon classes, then run another mile, another hour of PT, then march till 5 pm. Do laundry, clean and polish gear (you BETTER get it right) field day barracks for morning inspection (better get that right too).... Taps at 9 pm.
In 12 weeks you will be one lean mean fighting machine. A MAN.
(In memory of USMC Sgt Michael Mooney, 3 viet tours in Force Recon, soaked with agent orange, shot in a$$ in Hue, defended Khe Sahn..... it took till 3 months ago (Sept 2006) for the agent orange to finally kill him... He always said if asked he would do it all again... said while stumbling around on his walker, hanging on to a bottle of Corona... RIP)

You really want to be a Marine???

God bless and protect you! You are walking in history my man, you are walking in history! I would adjust my schedule to their time to make the transition easier, either way you will be tired and they will motivate you...just make up your mind that you are going to complete it and prioritize it in your life.
