a friend cutting herself. i need answer now!?

my best friend cuts her self and today at school when her couzin tryed to take the razor away from her her cuzin cut her own finger really deep and if it keeps bleeding she might get stitches.she got a bandade but she told the teacher that she fell
should she tell the teacher the truth or should i?

somebody PLEASE SPEAK UP !!!!! it wouldn't hurt if both of you said something she needs help FAST ! my little sister was acutter and she died because no one wanted her to be upset that they told someone. if someone cared enough to speak out she would still be alive today. they don't speak out for themselves. that's why they cut. they suffer in silence. TELL SOME ONE ...........NOW !

TELL HER PARENTS, tell her teacher, tell the school counselor. This is a VERY serious problem that has deep roots and needs counseling.

My best friends granddaughter was doing the same thing and Had to be Baker Acted. Institutionalized for 48 hours for counseling to try to determine the cause. She is now in therapy and doing much better.

This is NOT a secret you should keep. SOME SECRETS CAN KILL FRIENDS.

Tell the proper authorities on this issue, right now, is your counselor. Also, give constant presence to your friend because she is at risk for suicide. After that, correct referrals will lead you to medical personnel that can help address the problems: the bleeding finger and the psychological condition of your friend.

I have dealt with MANY friends who have cut themselves. In my opinion you need to either tell the teacher or the school councilor, your friend needs help. she may get very mad at you for telling, but this is very unhealthy and she needs help!!! in the long run she will be better off. be brave and tell someone, you'll be doing the right thing. Obviously the girl who cuts herself is a self-mutilator. You need to tell the girls parents and if the girl who took the blade from her cousin, and got cut, can't bring herself to fess up, then maybe you should. This problem is serious, and shouldn't be taken lightly.

First of all how bad is the cutting? If your friend is unstable, the school coming on to her about her cutting will probably make it worse. If the friend has some stability tell the teacher.

well cutting isnt fun and its basicly to try to stop the inside pain so you cut on the outside, it isnt very fun. you might want to tell someone like a teacher or a parent or somthing because one day she might cut herself a little to deep and it might not turn out so well.

1. wants attention
2. they want a way to relieve themselves of some sort of pain or 3. they want a trophy, an accomplishment...which the scars symbolize to them.
Please help her. She doesn't have to know you told on her, just tell a teacher or counselor that she does and let them know to not tell her.

Your friend needs help badly! If you care for her, you'll tell the teacher and tell her EXACTLY what went on. Your friend is in pain and can't help herself.
