I would really like to design my place based off an Italian/Tuscany/Greek/Mediterranean feel. I love rich warm, calming colors (ocean blues, deep reds, etc.) Are there any good websites that can offer suggestions, with visuals as well?

A really nice "tuscan" looking paint finish can be accomplished really easily... paint your walls, then buy a tinted glaze in a complimentary, but slightly lighter, shade. pour some glaze.. just about 1/2 cup into a paint tray, and let it spread out in the tray. Take a dry feather duster and lightly dip the ends of the feathers in the glaze... then tap onto the walls. Its time consuming, but it comes out looking amazing! It really adds texture and light to the walls and makes them look "aged".

HGTV is a great suggestion, they have a slection called "designers portfolio" its very easy to search by style, and you can look at rooms you like and gather inspiration. Also.. this sounds lame, but find a fabric you just LOVE... for window treatments.. pillows.. whatever... and draw from there. Paint colors... furniture style.. everything can be pulled from a sample of fabric. Lastly.. if you have an Ethan Allen near you.. they offer free design consults
