Allergic reaction?

Sometimes the palms and fingers on my hands seem irritated. They look like my skin is breaking out but it's several layers under my skin and they get red and splotchy and it's kind of like a burning felling under my skin. I know it happens when I use some dish detergents so I stopped buying them and now use non-allergenic soaps but this last week they seem to be "acting up" again. Has anyone ever experienced this and is there a specialist I could see for this? Would I see a dermatoligist since it's on my on the palms and fingers of my hands?

it sure sounds like an allergic reaction, but check with your doctor to know for sure
