Red is the color with the lowest vibration so it has the most organic and most physically vitalizing feeling. It is heat-giving and has vibrant power – quick in strength and force, red is often associated with power and leadership. Red is also associated with powerful actions, among some being sacrifice or intimate personal situations.

The color red is used in maintaining health, providing strength and physical energy, and evokes intense emotions such as sexual prowess, passion, courage, and protection. It is also seen as a defensive color. Dark shades of red are allied with high energy and determination. It is often seen as a symbol of long life as well as a representation of love. Because of its connection with human blood, it is often linked to life and death. Power to achieve goals, vitality, grounding, material security, stability, stillness, and courage are all linked to the color red. So are excitement, desire, speed, aggression, danger, war, and violence.

One of the wildest things about color is that of it's mystical power to subconsciously make us feel and see near optical illusions. Yes in theory there are a few colors of the color spectrum that would project a sense of urgency when worn or displayed. Many warm colors such as red, yellow even white can represent strength. This is primarily why I emphases to apprentices certain importance of creating art that has to do with elements and principles of design. Not only can color be of importance to successfully convey to your observer an emotion or to provoke one at that, but so is placement of object, the size of the subject.

In my answer to this for many reasons the color alone is not necessarily what projects the strength. It depends on what the focus is, what does the person (artist) want to convey and desire the viewer to feel.

I think royal purple is a color that definitely represents strength. That or royal blue. I think gold mixed in with that would create the look of faith, stability, and strength.

depends in the content!
strength is blue! i remember in art class the teacher took out a blue sheet of paper and a pink shade she did a strength test
one at a time we got to go up and get our arm pushed down to our side as we held it up when we seen the blue paper it was harder for our teacher to push our arm down!
with the pink we were weeker!

now if you go spiritral ways it can be Blue Black and Green some times red!
but then again you have to make your own list for that! if you want the true meanings of colors!

Red represents power and strength, and also anger.

I would say red, but I don't think the color is nearly as important as the depth and vibrancy of the color. A pastel isn't going to say "strength" as clearly as a primary one.
