Um well in 2010 they are retiring space shuttles. Um 2012 nothing, just like something was suppose to happen in 2000, and it didn't. By 2024 there will be space station headquarters on the moon. But that's about it. Oh and when we build this place on the moon, we will be able to take trips to mars. Exciting huh... Stop listening to people that don't know what they are talking about. Nobody knows what is going to happen. I heard in 2014 that New York State will be under water, but you think I have the time to build a boat? Um no, and if that was the case, they would be evacuating people, so don't worry. It's just gossip....

2012 is the last year of the Mayan calendar, they believed the earhts current cycle will end and a new one will begin. Many have taken that to mean destruction of life as we know it. Will it happen? Check back in 6 years, same Mayan time, same Mayan channel.

I don't know what will happen in the year 2012 and no one else does either, for if anyone could see or know the future they could have predicted 911 or hurricane Katrina. And surly it is absurd that anyone would claim that bible prophecies will take place in that time, because they can not even convince themselves that that God exist. Sorry but people have claimed that day to many times and it did not happen, just crying wolf to keep people interested

The Myan Calendar states all the planets in our solar system will align side by side on the right side of the sun. That's all there is to 2012. The Myans figured their events in groups of 12. They were heavy into astronomy.

there are many different prophecies concerning the end times, so several things could happen, one if the true believers go up this coming year the tribulation would be in the last 3&1/2 years and also into the final battle of Armageddon, if god and jesus tarry the first 3&!?2 years of the tribulation at the final phase of Armageddon jesus returns to prevent Israel's enemies and the earth's enemies from destroying it. possible asteroid hit or Nuclear war also have been predicted for that time. But Only God knows what lies ahead ask and talk to him in prayer and he will tell you. in his own way and time what lies ahead.Trust in the Lord your God and lean not on your own understanding.

It is the end of the mayan calander, and the ushering in of a new cycle of time....
There is tons and tons of info available on it. Do a goolge search and start reading, thats the best way for you to find out what you want to know about it.
Myself personally, I don't think anything bad is going to happen, but you will read bad things, so be prepared........

2012 is the "end of time" under the Mayan calendar which is literally the last year of their calendar. Some have taken this to be the end of the world, but most believe it to merely be the end of a particular unit of time under their calendar system.
