Expect to drink tequila in sips, like a wine. then progressively move towards shots. taste each tequila and decide which style you like best. I prefer mine a little aged like patron anejo it is a blended yet smooth tequila and goes down smoothly with a little lime. the silver is a bit too young and leaves you with a bit of a hangover. Anejo makes good margaritas as well. Google Patron tequila so you know what your talking about before you go. The company has a small presentation available.

There are 3 main types of tequila Silver or Clear this is the purist style it sees no time aging in oak. next is represado this spends up to a year in oak casks. The tequila is a bit more thick and spicy. Last is the anjeyo this is tequila that spends at least a year in oak casks it is much more expensive. It is thicker and has more oak spices to it. I prefer the silver it is so clean and is the taste of pure blue agave(the cactus used to make tequila)

They will give you small shots of tequila starting with blanco and progressing towards the higher end tequilas. You are tasting not shooting so you shouldn't need salt or lime or you will not experience the true taste. Don't swish it in your mouth it's not Listerine, it's tequila. For extra points know the tequila drinking cheer "Arriba! Abajo! Al Centro! Para Entro! (Up! Down! Center! Enter!)" Enjoy!

Depends on the type of tequila. The better tequilas are very smooth. Don't drink the cheap stuff. Never drink the crap with a worm in it...that is not tequila.
