DON'T LECTURE ME!!! I PROMISE I've heard it all.

So... I just smoked my first cigarrette, and I'm not sure if I did it right... I didn't swallow any of the smoke just blew it back out. But... how do I get the smell off my breath? And the taste? Mom doesn't suspect it yet but I know I'm able to suspect when people have...

Any tips?

I'm not going to smoke a lot... I can't get many cigarattes as it is!
I've hidden the ones I do have, and probably (after that first one) will NOT light up again any time soon. (;
ec1177, I'm just a kid, what's your excuse? If you're about my age, don't say you've never at least thought of smoking!

FYI, doing it "right" would be walking away from it before you try it again. FYI, you're not supposed to swallow the smoke.

Brush your teeth. Wash your hands.

No mint or lotion will take away the smell, but might cover it up enough that your mom won't notice - especially if this is the only time you try it.

I will definitely NOT say that as a youngster I didn't think about smoking...that would only make me a liar!

I started smoking when I was 14...I hid it from my mom (or thought I did), for a few years. When I turned 28 I realized that I had been smoking for half my life, and that's when I decided to quit.

Quitting was REALLY hard, and TOTALLY SUCKED. It's because I wish for you to not have to go through that process, that I wish you will avoid cigarettes in the future. :-)

Gee, I am so glad you have heard it all, it is just a shame that NONE OF IT SUNK IN!!! My mother died of colon cancer a few years ago and smoking was partly to blame. It affects your entire immune system. It is impossible to hide because it will be in your hair & clothes as well as your breath. If you are smoking because your "friends" are encouraging you to do so, well, I would not call them friends because they don't give a damn about your health & well being. And are probably doing it to you to make themselves feel less guilty about it. An awful lot of people do not like being around smokers, but very few have problems being around non-smokers. As for the guys, well, maybe they would like kissing an ashtray, but why limit your love life so severely because most really don't. It does not make you look cool or older, it makes people look stupid. It will make you look older in ways you don't want. It makes wrinkles and lines in your face and discolors your skin prematurely. Enjoy your shortened life my young friend. And yes, I am lecturing, my mom was only 46.

the smell stays in your hair and hands too, so be careful. carry some of those mini sprays from Victoria or Bath and Body to spray on ur hair, and buy some of the smell good anti bacterial hand cream that they have. That is what i use to hide the smell from my BF.

It's really hard to hide so maybe you should either stop smoking or right when you're done brush your teeth and put on perfume. Smoking is bad for you!! LOL

First off don't start cuz its alot harder to stop than u think, 2nd chew gum afterwards, and 3rd if u wanna do it right suck in the smoke and then inhale it in your lungs. although it takes a little while to get used to at first.

as you smoke more and more, it gets impossible to hide. it gets in your clothes, in your hair and somehow stays on your breath for a while. mouthwash will work only if you don't smoke much.

I smoke and am quitting on January first. My aunt discovered she had lung cancer when she coughed up blood....then went through treatments, lost her hair, could not eat, and eventually died. Now what was your question again?
