1. See your dentist for followup on the extraction and further treatment. Extraction of the bad teeth is considered as "primary" or "emergency" care in dentistry. Once the extraction is done, you needs to have your teeth cleaned and re-evaluated for 'hidden" decay.

2. Sensodyne toothpaste often helps sensitive teeth due to gum recession

3. Try to improve your daily oral hygiene. Brush and floss more often and using the CORRECT techniques.

4. Avoid sweet and sour foods. Balanced diet is helpful.

I think next time get a second opinion in my experience the dentist wanted to pull 2 or 3 teeth so i got a second opinion and got only the only one pulled out and the pain was gone. also make sure you brush your teeth right after sweets especially the back teeth and get a miswak it usually help with teeth pain.

Have you tried advil or did the dentist give you anything for pain? An ice pack will relieve you of any swelling. Other than that just give it a couple of days.
Watch out for infection though...if it is still paining you may have to get antibiotics.
Feel better soon!

Go back to the Dentist and tell him the problem. Your teeth should not hurt if they are in good condition. If they are not they should be fixed.

Try mouth washing with Hydrogen Peroxide. It will kill pain and heal poor gums. Also use an antibacterial mouthwash to help kill off any bacteria in your mouth.
