I mean obviously the canadian border won't have a "fence" built. They could pass there illegally.

A ticked to Canada from Mexico is not really that expensive. I heard it was about $ 600 or something like that

Border crossing has always been an issue - from both borders. There are millions of illegal Americans living in those two countries as well.

The 9-11 terrorists were granted legit student visas for the USA, one can only assume that all due dilligence was exercised ....I will leave it to your intelligence to figure out the name of the competent authority. Does it really matter which country (ies) they came through ? Following the 9-11 attacks their visas were renewed ! !! What does Canada have to do with this ?

Well, spending $600- for a ticket to Canada so that one can illegally cross the border into the U.S. certainly shoots down the theory that illegals are so very poor, and they only come here to work and feed their starving families.

They already are. I know for a fact that illegal aliens are coming to Burbank , Ca. from Syria via the Canadian border.

Well, spending $600 sounds a lot better than the normal $ 3000-$ 5000 required to be smuggle over so yes that is an attractive option indeed.

Pepe...are you kidding? The 911 terrorist came thru the Canadian boarder. Mexicans don't generally go that far north to cross...Which is why we are building a wall only on our southern boarder. The only 'illegals' we have any passion for keeping out are of the Latin American variety.
